My heartfelt thanks to all those who like indian Montessori training courses east. We want to reach out to more people through our yeoman service.
The situation now is unfavourable . It is life. Now and then we should face such situations so that we will have time to introspect. We learn to live in such unfavourable sitautions that is the art of living.
We are optimistic that soon the situation will be better when we can work with more vigour. Thanks for the encouragement.

The girls of the current batch . The written examination is done and are preparing for the oral and practical examination s. The heat of the summer and the anxiety of the exam is making them look tired.
As these girls are making way to exit, the new aspirants are walking in. Loving the whole process though it is exhausting.

We always try to teach discipline by outer means and more through instructions and advising. Discipline is innate means we have to help that manifest outwardly.

So the adults should not feel proud or surrogate that we are responsibility for the child's development. The nature has already laid a plan for the child. We have to only extend as much help as needed by the child and become facilitators of the child

What do we mean by Independence?

Independence is commonly understood as letting the child do WHATEVER he wishes to.

Whereas…
Maria Montessori says -
"The essence of independence is to be able to do something for one’s self. Adults work to finish a task, but the child works in order to grow, and is working to create the adult, the person that is to be. Such experience is not just play... it is work he must do in order to grow up."

Thus, we do not tell them how to do it. Instead we show them how to do it and do not say a word. As, if you tell them, they will watch your lips move. If you show them, they will want to do it themselves.
Similarly, doing the activity for them might seem to be the faster or the easier option for us, but it is not helping the child's inner development.

Thus, the child must be independent and free to do EVERYTHING he is capable of doing by himself, and when help is required they ask us for it.
