The Global Futures Program 2026, hosted by NMIMS Bengaluru in partnership with Common Purpose, the University of Glasgow, and the University of Birmingham, offered students a unique opportunity to engage with peers from across cultures, exchange ideas, and develop the skills needed to succeed in an interconnected world.
Through immersive experiences, peer mentoring, reflection, and dialogue, participants strengthened their self-awareness, empathy, collaboration, and cultural intelligence capabilities that are becoming increasingly valuable in today’s global environment.
More than an international exchange, the program challenged students to step beyond familiar perspectives, embrace diverse viewpoints, and build meaningful connections across borders. These experiences not only broaden horizons but also inspire confidence, adaptability, and leadership.
Global Futures reaffirmed an important lesson: some of the most impactful learning happens when we engage with people whose experiences are different from our own.
