rain child of a group of student-caring lecturers, who realized after working in different institutions that there were so many deficiencies and lapses in many college managements and their education systems as an impact of which their students failed to make it big in this competitive world. Parents send their wards to institutions to get quality education and career guidance and it becomes the moral responsibility of the educational institutions to bring the best out of the students. Keeping students’ interests first in mind, our mentors started a learning center for distance education from Manipal Education Group – ‘Sampoorna Academy of Management & Science’ at HBR layout, Bangalore in 2005 offering various Bachelors' & Master Degree programs to over 1200 working professionals, and ‘Prime Tutorials’ at Lingarajpuram, yet another educational institute offering quality pre-university coaching to over 500 students. These mentors along with few other likeminded teachers from different colleges came together and conceived Teachers' Academy: an epitome for quality education. Teachers' Academy has technically integrated smart screen class rooms, biometric attendance system, high-end Science Laboratory, Library and Non-profit Canteen facilities, in addition to internet accessed text material, and notes sharing are made easy among students’ groups through college website.
