Three Days "National Level Workshop on Android Application Development and Competition" was organised in association with Pushkala Technologies by Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering at Shri Pillappa College of Engineering on 17th, 18th and 19th Apr 2017.
Prof. Vishwa Kiran S, VP, Pushkala Technologies gave the fundamentals of Android App and its development.

NSS unit of SHRI PILLAPPA COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING has organized program to celebrate 126th birth anniversary of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar on 14/4/2017 by the NSS coordinator Prof. VENU GOPAL, Dept. of Mathematics. On this occasion events like Essay competition on - Autobiography of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar both in English and Kannada were conducted and the prizes were distributed to winners. Ravi YAdav- from Mech 8th semester took first prize in kannada and Abina Mary Christina of 6th sem CSE in English and a complimentary prize to Ashwitha from I sem ECE is given for a talk on contributions of Dr. B.R Ambedkar to society.

"Sports and Games have great significant value in student's life. The essence of games in student's life is for providing them creative environment which promotes their individuality, mental ability and thinking power. It is truly said that education without games is incomplete".
With the encouragement of management and our respected Chairman Shri. P. Naveen Kumar and Principal Dr. H.D. Ramesh , our students participated in " VTU North Zone Kho Kho" tournament for men and won the 2nd prize in finals ( Kho Kho Runner up - 2017 for VTU North Zone) under the supervision of coach and Physical Education Director Shri. Srinivas Prabhu. SPCE team is qualified for the VTU INTER-ZONE kho Kho tournament. Prof. Prakash.K from the department of Mechanical Engg. accompanied the team.
