Topic: “Expert Perspectives for Safer Medicines”

Activities:
Pick and Talk Competition
Story Narration Competition
Day 5 featured two engaging activities designed to encourage students to communicate their knowledge of pharmacovigilance creatively and confidently.
Pick and Talk: Students picked a topic related to pharmacovigilance and presented their views spontaneously.
Story Narration: Students narrated stories centred around medication safety, adverse drug reactions, pharmacovigilance, and patient safety, making the concepts engaging and easy to understand.

1. Webinar
Topic: “Promoting Rational Use of Medicines through Pharmacovigilance: A Step Towards Safer Healthcare”
Resource Person: Dr. Dharini Boopathi, Senior Pharmacovigilance Associate, PvPI, IPC, Ghaziabad.
The webinar highlighted the role of pharmacovigilance in promoting rational medicine use, improving patient safety, increasing awareness, and supporting safer healthcare practices.
2. Reels Making Competition
A Reels Making Competition was also conducted, encouraging students to creatively communicate messages related to pharmacovigilance, medication safety, ADR awareness, and the importance of safe and rational medicine use.
