The strength of any great institution is its alumni, the beacons of success spreading the pride of their alma mater far and wide. We take privilege in being a part of Student Alumni Committee (Alumcom), which acts as an interface between the students and alumni. IIM Bangalore has one of the strongest Alumni networks across all B-schools in India. AlumCom works to promote seamless interaction with
alumni and to ensure that students reap all the benefits of Alumni network. "Building Bridges Across Time..." - truly defines the motto of AlumCom which is responsible for organizing various initiatives like IIMBUE, Anusmaran (the global IIMB Alumni meet), reunions, seminars, mentorships, Twaran, Shaurya etc. IIMBUE is the annual leadership summit for alumni which was instituted in 2015. Anusmaran, the flagship event of AlumCom, happens in multiple cities spread across the globe during PGP1 Summer Internships. We realize that relationship building with Alumni is indispensable, so we interact with Alumni round the year. So, needless to say, we are occupied with exciting events throughout the year. We also act as the guardian of funds donated by a particular batch to the institute and help decide, how to put it to best use.
