Presenting you the Co Chair of UNSC of SJC MUNSOC.
Ankita Hansda, one of the founding members of the SJC MUNSOC, has been a passionate debater and Munner right from her high school days at Mount Carmel School. She has won debates, best delegate and has also chaired a lot of MUNS in Delhi as well as the Bangalore circuit.
Ankita Hansda has pursed her triple majors in Economics, Political Science and Sociology.
She has led SJC (Autonomous) as the Vice President for the academic year 2018-2019.
She has delegated and taken home many awards from various MUNs in and across Delhi and Bangalore, few of them being, DMUNC, DIMUN, Rota Mun, SJC MUN, CMS MUN, symbiosis mun etc.
She has been an advocate for tribal rights and is currently furthering her research work in Delhi.
She believes in learning through experience, which is why her knowledge comes not just from being an avid reader but also a lot of travelling.
International relations has always been one of her most loved subjects and she admits being intrigued by diplomacy both as a concept and practice, and believes MUNing to be a gateway to understand how our world really functions. After all, only when we understand things, we can change them.
