EXPLORING THE MEDIA WORLD: A VISIT TO KOLKATA TV
Students gain insight into Journalism through an Exciting industrial tour.

Industrial Visit to Kolkata TV
Our students from Akui Kamalabala Women’s College recently had the enriching opportunity to visit Kolkata TV, a prominent media house. This visit was a part of our ongoing efforts to provide practical exposure and understanding of the media industry to our students.
Memorandum of Understanding:
We are thrilled to announce a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Kolkata TV and Akui Kamalabala Women’s College. This partnership aims to facilitate a deeper engagement between our institution and the media house, allowing students to gain firsthand experience in journalism and media operations.

Acknowledgments:
Our heartfelt gratitude goes to our principal, Dr. Pitambar Paul, and Dr. Nandini Maity for orchestrating this visit and fostering such valuable collaborations. Their leadership and vision have continually opened doors to new learning opportunities for our students.

Student Experience and Motivation:
Our students were truly inspired by the detailed descriptions and discussions about the inner workings of a media house. They learned about various aspects of journalism, broadcasting, and the pivotal role media plays in shaping public opinion. The insights provided by the professionals at Kolkata TV have motivated our students to explore careers in media and journalism with newfound enthusiasm.

Exciting news! 🎉 Our Dance Group ‘EKTARA’ from AKUI KAMALABALA WOMEN’S COLLEGE has clinched the 1st position in the DISTRICT LEVEL YUVA UTSAV 2024 dance competition! 💃🏆
This prestigious event, conducted by Nehru Yuva Kendra, Bankura, under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt. Of India, was held at Bankura Christian College.
