The students of BBA–I, Semester–II of Shri L.B.S. Arya Mahila College, Barnala have demonstrated excellent academic performance and achieved commendable results.

Mehru Rani secured the first position with 9.00 SGPA. Gursimran Kaur and Harmandeep Kaur jointly stood second with 8.92 SGPA, while Gurnoor Kaur achieved the third position with 8.75 SGPA.

On this occasion, Officiating Principal Dr. Sushil Bala congratulated the successful students and the Commerce Department on this remarkable achievement. She also extended her best wishes to the students for a bright and successful future.

The students of Sh. Lal Bahadur Shastri Arya Mahila College, Barnala, have achieved outstanding results in the B.Com 1st year (Semester 2nd), bringing pride to the college. Parmpreet Kaur secured the first position with a 9.00 SGPA, Prabhjot Kaur got second position with an 8.85 SGPA, and Tanveer Kaur got third position with an 8.73 SGPA. Officiating Principal Dr.( Mrs.) sushil Bala congratulated all the students for their excellent performance and appreciated their sincere efforts and dedication. She expressed that the result reflects the hard work of students and the guidance of the Commerce faculty. The Department of Commerce extended warm wishes for the students’ bright future and continued success.

A graceful retirement-cum-farewell ceremony was organised on 29 November 2025 at Shri LBS Arya Mahila College, Barnala, to honour Assistant Professor Mrs. Anjana Raturi, Head of the Sanskrit Department, for her 38 years of devoted academic service.
The programme began with a warm welcome by the Principal, Management Committee and Faculty, followed by the lamp-lighting ceremony. Principal Dr. Sushil Bala shared heartfelt memories of Madam Raturi and praised her dedication, discipline and inspiring contribution to Sanskrit literature. Professors from various departments also expressed their admiration and best wishes, including Mrs. Dilpreet (English Department), Mrs. Parminder Kaur (Librarian), Dr. Virpal (Economics), Mr. Krishan (Superintendent) and Ms. Anmol Kaur (Science Department).Finance Secretary Mr. Pradeep Goel appreciated her role as a sincere teacher, guide and counsellor, wishing her joy in the next phase of life. A touching video presentation featuring messages from her daughter Ms. Megha Raturi and from people who could not physically attend the event.Wishes were also extended by family members including Mr. Neeraj (Brother-in-law), Mrs. Madhu (Sister), Mrs.Bina (Aunt) and cousin Visakha, making the moment even more sentimental and cherished. As a mark of respect, the College presented Madam Raturi with Phulkari, a memento and a cash honorarium, while her family also offered a special souvenir. Madam Raturi, in turn, gave mementos to Class-IV employees, and staff members expressed their affection with small tokens.The event was graced by members of the Management Committee, Arya Samaj Barnala, staff from the college, Collegiate Senior Secondary School, and former faculty.
The programme was beautifully anchored by Dr. Jaswinder (Head of Punjabi Department), who conducted the stage with dignity, clarity and elegance.
The farewell honoured her remarkable career. Mrs. Anjana Raturi will be remembered for her grace and excellence.

The NCC Day Celebration was held with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit on 22nd November 2025 at Shri. Lal Bahadur Shastri Arya Mahila College, Barnala under the guidance of officiating principal Dr. Sushil Bala and Commanding Officer Lt. Col. Amitesh Verma of 10 PB BN NCC patiala. 38 cadets and 1 ANO Lt.(Dr.) Veerpal kaur, prof. Anjana Raturi, prof. Archana and prof. Neeru jethi were present on this occasion. The program commenced with the soulful rendition of the NCC Song, which set an inspiring tone for the day. A Poster Making Competition was conducted on the theme “Unity and Discipline”, where cadets showcased their artistic talents and expressed the core values of NCC through vibrant and meaningful posters on theme NCC.
A Declamation Contest, poem recitation, patriotic songs singing was held. The cadets expressed their views on national issues, leadership, and discipline. Their powerful speeches reflected clarity of thought, confidence, and dedication towards nation-building.
The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks, expressed by ANO Lt. (Dr.) Veerpal kaur appreciating the efforts of the cadets for making the celebration a success. The program came to an end with the National Anthem, sung collectively in honor of the nation.

ਸ੍ਰੀ ਐਲ.ਬੀ.ਐਸ. ਆਰੀਆ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਕਾਲਜ ਬਰਨਾਲਾ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਜਕਾਰਨੀ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਸੁਸ਼ੀਲ ਬਾਲਾ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਅਤੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਐਨਐਸਐਸ ਅਤੇ ਰੈਡ ਰਿਬਨ ਦੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਅੱਜ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਤੇਗ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਜੀ ਦਾ 350 ਸਾਲਾ ਸ਼ਹੀਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਇੱਕ ਸੈਮੀਨਾਰ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ, ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਹਾਦਤ ਨੂੰ ਸਜਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਡਾਕਟਰ ਜਸਵੀਰ ਨੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਤੇਗ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਚਰਚਾ ਕੀਤੀ। ਡਾਕਟਰ ਜਸਵਿੰਦਰ ਨੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਤੇਗ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਜੀ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀਕੋਣ ਤੇ ਚਾਨਣਾ ਪਾਇਆ। ਡਾਕਟਰ ਕਿਰਨਪਾਲ ਨੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਤੇਗ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਵਿਚਾਰਧਾਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਕਾਲੀ ਸਮਾਜ ਤੇ ਉਸਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ। ਡਾਕਟਰ ਸਰੀਤਾ ਨੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਤੇਗ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਜੀਵਨ ਗਾਥਾ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਵਿਸਥਾਰ ਪੂਰਵਕ ਵਰਣਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਅਫਸਰ ਮੈਡਮ ਅਰਚਨਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਗੁਰੂ ਤੇਗ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਹਾਦਤ ਇੱਕ ਲਸਾਨੀ ਉਦਾਹਰਨ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਤੇ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲਦੀ। ਕਿ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਜੰਜੂ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਬਲਿਦਾਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੀ ਸ਼ਹਾਦਤ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਏਕਤਾ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਮਿਸਾਲ ਹੈ। ਕਿ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਹਾਦਤ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹਿੰਦੁਸਤਾਨ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਿੰਦੂ ਧਰਮ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਰਿਹਾ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੈਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਦੀ ਉਦਾਹਰਨ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਹੋਇਆ ਆਪਣੀ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ, ਜੋ ਐਨਐਸਐਸ ਦਾ ਮਾਟੋ ਵੀ ਹੈ। ਜੋ ਕਿ ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੇ ਮਹਾਂਪੁਰਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਹਾਦਤ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਨਿਕਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਸੈਮੀਨਾਰ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੋ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਵੱਧ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਭਾਗ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਤੇਗ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਲਸਾਨੀ ਸ਼ਹਾਦਤ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਸੱਜਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਸੈਮੀਨਾਰ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੈਡਮ ਅਮਨਦੀਪ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਤੋਂ ਮੈਡਮ ਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਪੋਲੀਟੀਕਲ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਤੋਂ ਮੈਡਮ ਰੀਮਪੀ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਡਮ ਵੀਰਪਾਲ ਵੀ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਹੋਏ।

Women's Entrepreneurship Day (WED) is celebrated annually on November 19. This day honours women entrepreneurs and their contributions to innovation, economic growth, and community building.Under the creative guidance of Officiating Principal Dr. (Mrs.)Sushil Bala , Department of Commerce and Management of Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Arya Mahila College Barnala celebrated women's Entrepreneurship Day. In this programme HOD Mrs. Monika Bansal gave their inspirational speech on women entrepreneurship and also encourage the students to make their own brand. Government also introduced an "Entrepreneurship Mindset Curriculum" (EMC) to foster an entrepreneurial spirit in students by developing skills like problem-solving, risk-taking, and innovation. This seminar can significantly boost students entrepreneurial spirit by providing practical insights and inspiring success stories. Miss Deepika gave their lecture on this occasion. At that time Mrs. Amandeep Kaur, Miss Parminder , Mrs. Harmandeep Kaur and all the students of Dept. were also present .
