๐ฆ WORLD MALARIA DAY | 25 April
Malaria is a serious and potentially life-threatening disease caused by the bite of infected mosquitoes. If not treated on time, it can lead to severe complications and even death. The common symptoms of malaria include high fever, chills, sweating, headache, body pain, nausea, vomiting and weakness. In some cases, patients may also experience anemia, jaundice and breathing difficulties.
However, malaria can be prevented with simple precautions. Avoid stagnant water around your home as mosquitoes breed there. Always use mosquito nets while sleeping and apply mosquito repellents. Wear full-sleeve clothes, especially during evening and night. Maintain cleanliness in your surroundings and seek early medical testing if fever occurs.
Early awareness and timely action can save lives. Let us work together to prevent malaria and build a healthier future.
