*SWACHTHA HI SEVA*
The cleanliness program conducted by the students of Adesh institute of dental sciences and research aimed at fostering a sense of responsibility towards maintaining a clean and hygienic environment within and around the campus. It was organized with the objective of contributing to the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and promoting a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable living and learning environment.

**Activities Conducted:**

1. **Campus Cleanup:** Students, faculty, and staff participated in a collective effort to clean the university campus. This involved picking up litter, disposing of waste, and maintaining the cleanliness of common areas.

2. **Awareness Campaign:** Students organized an awareness campaign to educate their peers about the importance of cleanliness, sanitation, and waste management. Posters and pamphlets were distributed to disseminate information.

3. **Cleanliness Competitions:** Various competitions were organized, such as poster making and essay writing, to engage students in the importance of cleanliness and encourage creative expression on the topic.

**Achievements:**

The cleanliness program by students of Adesh University achieved the following:

- A noticeable improvement in the overall cleanliness and hygiene of the campus.
- Increased awareness and understanding among students about the significance of maintaining a clean environment.

Inter Batch Table-Tennis Tournament, AIDSR

The Inter batch table tennis tournament was conducted from October 20 to October 21, 2023 In Adesh Institute of Dental Sciences and Research, Adesh University Bathinda.
More than 30 participants from different batches took part in the tournament.
The matches were held in the Foyer Area AIDSR.

Excitement and enthusiasm for the competition was infectious. The tournament kindled competative spirit and camaderie among the students and helped in breaking ice between the batches. The participants played like professionals and displayed good sportsman spirit and teamwork.

Dr.Amanish Singh encouraged the students to participate wholeheartedly. The teachers in-charge Dr. Imtiyaz Nadaf, Dr. Amanpreet Singh, Dr. Parvinder Kumar and Dr. Salma Zafar appreciated the efforts of the students and motivated them during the competition. Mr. Balwinder Singh supported the tournament.

The Art Club under the Student Welfare Department organized an Egg Painting Event at the OP Lab, AIDSR at 3:30pm on 13th October, 23.
This offbeat event had students from all the college's participating to paint their eggs and egg shells with beautiful creative designs. Faculty members joined the event to appreciate the students in their non Acedemics endevours as well. This colourful event just goes to show how much art in any form can help us express our hidden selves. It was the perfect event for everyone to unwind after a stressful Friday.
A special thanks to all the DSW volunteers present at the event, their contributions helped this event become a great success.

Surely, all of us have happy memories of making paper planes in the classroom and flying them from one end of the classroom to the other when the teacher wasn't looking. To emulate the essence of that simple memory, the Art Club under the Student Welfare Department organized an Origami Paper Plane Making Event on 8th October, 23 at 11:00 AM in the AIMSR Foyer Area.
Students were asked to bring their own papers and scissors and create origami works taking inspiration from anything ranging from YouTube origami artists to funny and mischievous childhood memories. One small snip of the paper here and one big fold along the crease there created such amazing art works. Even the faculty members along with their children were able to enjoy this wonderful start to a creativity filled Sunday!!
We would like to extend a special thanks to our DSW volunteers who worked hard to helped organise this beautiful event.

Drop by the OP Lab (3rd floor) at the Dental College on 13/10/23 at 3:30 PM with you own colours and hard boiled eggs or egg shells (empty) and share with your peers the simple joy of painting whatever surface you want, in this case eggs!! The first event of Theatre Club under the Student Welfare Department received a tremendous response to the electric performances put up by our superbly talented students, and we could not be more proud!! The audience cheered in encouragement as our performers presented entertaining dramas. The faculty members joined us as well to appreciate our students' talent. The evening was finished off in style with an energetic Bhangra performance which was like a cherry on top!!
We would like to applaud the performers who worked very hard on their acts and also the DSW volunteers who helped organise the event and make it a huge success.👏🏼🎬🪭

Greetings artists!!🧑‍🎨

The Art Club under the Student Welfare Department is organizing an Origami Plane Making Event in the light of Indian Airforce Day this Sunday (8th October, 23) at 11am at the AIMSR Foyer Area. ✨💫

This event is organized to give you the space to experiment with papers and scissors and recreate the shenanigans from our childhoods in the form of paper planes. We also want to celebrate and honour our country's Air Force in our own goofy and artistic way!! ✂️🗒️

We feel extremely proud to tell you all about a new student who recently joined us here at Adesh University, Navpreet Singh. Not very lot ago, he secured a gold medal in the Power Lifting Sport at the district level held here in Bathinda from 26th September to 5th October. This is an inspirational achievement from his side that speaks volumes to what one can achieve if only you are determined to put in all your hard work. It is certainly uplifting to see our students take strides in such diverse aspects in their lives. It is wonderful to be able to witness great achievements from our upcoming generation of students and we feel lucky to have among us such talent. We congratule you, Navpreet, on this very impressive feat!!

The Art Club under the Student Welfare Department, Adesh University organized a ‘Crayon Carnival’ at AIDSR Foyer Area today at 10:00AM. Students from all the constituent colleges of Adesh University were called up to bring their sheets and crayons and color their hearts out.
The event was held in the light of Sunday morning breeze as soft music played in the background, a perfect start to a vibrant event. Students engaged in making eye-catching drawings with brightly colored crayons as they brought their creativity to life on blank sheets. Faculty members and their kids joined the students in this event. The little cuties brightened up the event with their own vibrant innovations. All the students had an enjoyable time as they looked back to their childhood for colorful inspirations. It was a very rewarding and joyful experience for everyone present.
A special thanks to all the DSW volunteers who contributed to the success of the event, their contributions helped this festival become a great success.
