An interdisciplinary learning session was conducted by the Department of Orthodontics in collaboration with the Department of Radiology on the interpretation of advanced imaging for TMJ disorders. The session highlighted MRI as the gold standard for soft tissue and muscle evaluation of the TMJ. The program was guided by Dr. Manjot, Professor & Head, Department of Radiology, under the leadership of Dr. Amanish Singh, Principal, AIDSR & Head, Department of Orthodontics along with the Orthodontics team.

The Pre-Conservative Dental Laboratories at Adesh Institute of Dental Sciences and Research have been upgraded with newly operational phantom heads, marking a significant milestone in advancing pre-clinical dental education through cutting-edge simulation-based learning. This transformative addition strengthens practical expertise, clinical precision, and confidence among students at an early stage of training. With the integration of the latest technologies, AIDSR continues to take a lead in empowering undergraduate and postgraduate students with advanced skill-based education and hands-on clinical excellence. The initiative was introduced under the visionary guidance of Dr. Amanish Singh Shinh, Principal, AIDSR, and the dedicated leadership of Dr. Munish, Head of the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics. The upgraded laboratories stand as a reflection of the institution’s unwavering commitment to innovation, academic excellence, and modern dental training.
