A Massive Plantation Drive took place at the Berhampur University campus, organized by the NSS PG Unit Berhampur University in collaboration with Satyasai Sangathan. Under the inspiring tagline "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam," a total of 500 saplings were planted in a single day, with a target of 2,000 plantings in the coming days.

🌳 Van Mahotsav Week Celebration 🌳

The NSS P.G. units of Berhampur University organized a tree-planting event in observance of Van Mahotsav week. Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. Geetanjali Dash, Chairman P.G. Council Prof. Sukanta Kumar Tripathy, Registrar Sri Sachidananda Tripathy, in-house syndicate members, faculty, campus supervisor, and non-teaching staff participated by planting trees. The program was coordinated by Dr. Padmaloacham Hembram, Asst. Prof. of Botany, and NSS POs Sakti Ranjan Dash, Dr. Sankarsan Malik, and Dr. Itishree Gita Kumari. We were honored to have Sri Srikatna Pattnaik, a Social & Environmental activist, as the chief guest.

NSS PG Units Berhampur U has started a program named "Mission: Watering WildLife" for the animals, birds in the Bhanjabihar campus. Volunteers have kept earthen water pots and water in waste plastic bottles at different places in the campus. This mission will continue until the end of summer.
