C-DAC, Pune has proposed conducting a Campus Placement Drive at Berhampur University for Linguistics Department students, targeting the post of Office Associate (Language / Linguistics) under the Career and Placement Assistance Cell. In this regard, the Coordinator of Linguistics Department is requested to inform their pass out as well as fourth semester students for sending their soft copy CV to [email protected] for further process.
MA in Linguistics / Applied Linguistics with a minimum of 50% marks, along with training in Computational Linguistics for any of the following languages:
Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Kashmiri, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Mizo
Post-Qualification Experience:
01–02 years (Freshers with relevant training may also apply)
Desired Skill Sets:
* Good knowledge of computers (certificate preferred)
* Proficiency in English and Indian languages
* Typing skills and working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Proficiency in any one of the above-mentioned Indian languages, including typing
* Ability to create, test, and validate linguistic datasets and lexicons
Proposed Job Profile:
* Creation of English lexical entries using MS Excel / Word
* Understanding and testing basic English grammar and linguistic tags
* Testing and validation of lexicon creation
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team and willingness to learn computational platforms related to NLP and AI
Compensation: ₹4.8 LPA (CTC, approx.)
