Kabi Sukanta Mahavidyalaya Organizes Seminar on âDr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Smriti Pakshaâ

Kabi Sukanta Mahavidyalaya, Bhadreswar, Hooghly, successfully organized a one-day seminar under the banner of âDr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Smriti Pakshaâ on 3rd July 2026 at the college auditorium. The programme was jointly organized by the Cultural Sub-Committee and NSS Units of the college in association with the IQAC, KSM, as part of the observance commemorating the birth and death anniversaries of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee.
The seminar aimed to revisit the life, vision, and contributions of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, one of modern India's distinguished educationists, parliamentarians, and nation-builders. Through this academic initiative, the institution sought to encourage students to engage with important moments and personalities in India's intellectual and political history.
The programme featured an enlightening keynote lecture delivered by Dr. Subham Amin, the esteemed invited speaker and Assistant Professor of English at Sri Ramkrishna Sarada Vidya Mahapitha. Drawing upon historical evidence and literary references, Dr. Amin presented a thoughtful and engaging discussion on the life, educational philosophy, nationalism, and public service of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee.
