On this occasion, various competitions were organized, and prizes were awarded to the winners. Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, with the rally starting from the college towards Borda village.

The NSS Unit and Youth Red Cross (YRC) of Chandrika Jain Degree Mahavidyalaya, Borda, Kalahandi celebrated Van Mahotsav Week on 7 July 2026 by organizing a tree plantation programme on the college campus.
The programme was conducted under the guidance of Mr. J. K. Sahu, NSS Programme Officer and Mr. S. K. Sagaria, YRC Counsellor. Faculty members, staff, NSS volunteers, YRC members, and students actively participated in the plantation drive.
