The Centre for Kumaoni Culture & Heritage at Graphic Era Hill University,Bhimtal campus concluded the International Certificate Course on Indian Socio-Cultural Environment (IKS โ Cohort 9), held from May 6โ10, 2026, with a vibrant valedictory ceremony.
The programme provided international students from the USA with enriching insights into Indian Knowledge Systems through sessions on Indian mythology, Ayurveda, traditional Kumaoni cuisine, art, attire, and immersive cultural experiences celebrating Indiaโs rich heritage and traditions. Participants also engaged in Hindi conversations, Kumaoni folk songs, Jhoda dance, and saree walk activities, gaining a deeper appreciation of Indiaโs cultural heritage.
Reflecting the spirit of โAtithi Devo Bhavaโ and โVasudhaiva Kutumbakam,โ the delegates expressed heartfelt gratitude to Graphic Era Hill University,Bhimtal campus for its warm hospitality, enriching academic exposure, and the memorable cultural learning experience throughout the programme. The ceremony concluded with the national anthems of the United States and India, bringing the programme to a respectful and memorable close.
