Seminar on Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) Begins!
The Department of Computer Science & Engineering, School of Computing, in collaboration with the Centre for Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS), Graphic Era Hill University, Bhimtal, inaugurated a three-day seminar on “Integrating Indian Knowledge Systems in Curriculum Design: A Multidisciplinary Approach with Special Reference to Vedic Mathematics” on 23 June, 2026.
Addressing the inaugural session, the Director, Bhimtal Campus emphasized the importance of making the present generation aware of India’s rich knowledge heritage and integrating it meaningfully into the curriculum in alignment with NEP 2020.
Expert talks by Dr. Arun Pratap Singh Rathod and Dr. Manoj Kumar Tripathi highlighted the multidisciplinary nature of IKS and its relevance in curriculum design, interdisciplinary learning, and value-based education. The seminar featured insightful discussions and interactive Q&A segments.
Participants expressed great enthusiasm and are eagerly looking forward to the upcoming sessions scheduled ahead.
