We are pleased to welcome Dr. Dhiraj as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering at IIIT Bhopal.
Dr. Dhiraj brings an interdisciplinary research background encompassing VLSI design, nanotechnology, functional nanomaterials, flexible and wearable electronics, piezoelectric and triboelectric nanogenerators, self-powered nanosensors, and energy-harvesting technologies.
He holds a Ph.D. in Electronics Engineering from AcSIR, India, and an M.Tech. in VLSI Design from MNIT Jaipur. Prior to joining IIIT Bhopal, he served as a Pool Scientist at the Nanoscale Research Facility, IIT Delhi, where he contributed to the development and characterization of advanced nanomaterials and self-powered electronic devices, with expertise in sophisticated nanoscale characterization techniques. He has also gained research experience through academic engagements with IIT Hyderabad and CSIR laboratories.
His research focuses on flexible and self-powered electronic systems, particularly the integration of nanomaterials, energy harvesters, and sensors for applications in wearable electronics, environmental monitoring, and intelligent sensing systems. His research has been published in leading journals, including Nano Energy, Chemical Engineering Journal, and Materials Horizons, and he also holds a patent. He has further contributed to the research community by serving as a peer reviewer for reputed journals published by leading publishers, including Elsevier and Cell Press.
