With the thought of this valuable gift of health, IIC RNTU , Rabindranath Tagore University observed the on 7th April 2022.

Padmashri Awardee Dr. Gyan Chaturvedi, Senior Cardiologist, graced the occasion with his kind presence.

With an aim to enhance student's learning about the importance of creating and testing prototypes during the engineering design process and help them understand the ways of testing new design ideas, IIC RNTU, recently organized a workshop on "Prototype/Process Design and Development Prototyping".

Mr. Varun Gaur, Associate Vice President at Lumenore & former Associate Director, Netlink Software was present during the workshop to guide the participants with his vast experience and knowledge.

The workshop was organized by the department of computer science and Information Technology.

Mr. Gaur helped the students to understand various aspects of prototyping and gave various examples to demonstrate the process and importance of prototyping. He also showed some prototype development tools to the participants.

Institute of Law & Central Library, Rabindranath Tagore University, recently co-organized a Two-Day Workshop on Research Methodology under IIC RNTU activities.

On day one, Ms. Saumya Snehal focused on the basics of Research, Research Philosophy, Types, Qualitative and Quantitative Research Methods. Students were also provided training of - a Legal Research Tool which is subscribed by the university. The students can learn to operate this tool and use it in legal research.

On the next day, Dr. Neelesh Sharma enlightened students on Statistical and Empirical Research.

To provide guidance and motivation to the students and research scholars of the Engineering and Management Department for entrepreneurship, a session was conducted on "Entrepreneurship and Innovation as Career Opportunity" earlier in the last quarter under IIC RNTU.

The focus of the webinar was on the opportunities in the current scenario to become an entrepreneur. The topic covered in the webinar was various facilities provided by the government to the start-ups, the importance of communication, entrepreneurship skill and funding sources.

IIC RNTU recently conducted a National Workshop on Creating Awareness on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) & IP Management.

On day one, Dr. N.K. Choubey- Sr. Principal Scientist & Head, Intellectual Property Facilitation Centre, Patent Information Centre & Technology Management Centre MP Council of Science and Technology, Bhopal, enlightened the students about Intellectual Property Rights (IPR).

On the second day of the workshop, Mr. Balram Singh- IPR Consultant & Partner, PatentMinder IP Associates. Patent Agent, Indian Patent office, delivered the lecture on IP Management.

The workshop was co-organized by Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Centre for IoT and Advance Computing, and Department of Life Science, Rabindranath Tagore University where student and faculties were made aware of how to think critically about the Idea and Innovation in relation to Patent.
