It was a great pleasure and honour to serve as a Session Chair at ASSIC 2026 – the 4th International Conference, organized by the School of Computer Engineering, KIIT Deemed to be University.

I sincerely thank Dr. Sushruta Mishra Sir and Prof. Dr. H. K. Tripathy Sir for giving me this wonderful opportunity to serve as a Session Chair.

It was also a pleasure to meet and interact with Prof. Tarek Gabar Sir, University of Salford, and exchange valuable ideas on research, emerging technologies, and future academic collaborations.

Such academic platforms provide excellent opportunities for knowledge sharing, research networking, and building meaningful collaborations.

Pleased to share the successful completion of the Qmet PARIMANA Summer Internship Program 2026 by my Student, Sayan Ghosh.

It was a pleasure to mentor Sayan Ghosh, a B.Tech student from KIIT Deemed to be University, during the Qmet PARIMANA (Program for Advanced Research in Imaging, Metrology, and Nano-scale Applications of Quantum Sensing) Summer Internship, an initiative supported by the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India.

During the internship, Sayan worked on the project:

🔬 "Quantum-Enhanced Image Processing for Autonomous Perception."

Throughout the internship, he demonstrated curiosity, dedication, and a strong willingness to learn while exploring concepts at the intersection of Quantum Computing, Computer Vision, and Autonomous Systems. His enthusiasm for research and ability to grasp advanced concepts made mentoring him a rewarding experience.

I congratulate Sayan on successfully completing the internship and earning his certificate. I wish him continued success in his academic pursuits and future research endeavors in Quantum AI, Computer Vision, and Intelligent Autonomous Systems.

My sincere appreciation to Qmet Tech Foundation, PARIMANA – National Quantum Mission, and the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India, for providing such an excellent platform to nurture young researchers.

I am pleased to share that my student, Sayan Ghosh (B.Tech, CSE – 3rd Year, KIIT University), has been selected for the PARIMANA Summer Internship Program 2026, an initiative by Qmet Tech Foundation under the National Quantum Mission (DST), hosted at IIT Bombay.
During this program, he will be working on Quantum-Enhanced Image Processing for Autonomous Perception, contributing to the intersection of quantum technologies, sensing, and intelligent systems.
It is encouraging to see students actively engaging with emerging domains such as quantum sensing and imaging, and I am glad to mentor him through this journey.
