The World Population Day-2026 has been observed by Census Data Research Workstation, Department of Economics, Rama Devi Women’s University on 11.07.2026. A workshop was organized on this occasion by the Nodal officers Mr. Pankaj Kumar Naik and Dr. Anima Bag under the leadership of Prof. Aparajita Biswal, HoD, Department of Economics and Steering Committee member of the workstation on the theme of the day ‘REALIZING THE HOPES AND ASPIRATIONS OF YOUNG PEOPLE TODAY AND THE FUTURE’. Shri Haradhan Karmi, Deputy Director, Census Operations, Odisha, Shri Laxmidhar Biswal, Joint Director, Directorate of Economics & Statistics, Govt. of Odisha, Dr. Prabhata Das, Deputy Director, National Statistics Office, Govt. of India were the Guests of Honour.

12th International Day of Yoga was celebrated at Rama Devi Women's University jointly with 1(O) Girls Bn NCC, Bhubaneswar . The ocassion witnessed major participation of NCC cadets of 1(O) Girls Bn as well as NCC, NSS & YRC volunteers, faculty and staff of the University. The event was graced by Hon'ble VC Prof.Jyotsna K.B.Rout, CPGC Prof. Chandi Charan Rath, Director CDC Prof.Sasmita Mohanty, Director IQAC Prof.Shikha Singh, CO Lt Col Sanjeev Kumar Mishra among others. Yoga demonstration was led by duo of Ms Jeeta Mohanty and Ms Lipsa Panda, Founder and Director Yogashtra Corporate Wellness. RDWU proudly promotes wellness and unity through Yoga.
