On 28th June, 2026, under Kartavya Connect: KIIT Student–Dignitary Interaction Series (New Delhi Chapter), the student delegation of the KIIT Centre for Constitutional Law Studies and Research (CCLSR), KIIT School of Law, KIIT-DU had the privilege of paying a courtesy visit (Meet & Greet) to Hon’ble Mr. Pravin H. Parekh, Senior Counsel, Supreme Court of India, at his residence— B-99, Parekh Villa, Gautam Nagar, Neeti Bagh, New Delhi🇮🇳.
During the interaction, Mr. Parekh shared his invaluable experiences from his early years as a first-generation lawyer, reflecting upon the challenges, dedication, and perseverance that shaped his journey in the legal field. His insights offered the students a deeper understanding of the importance of commitment, continuous learning, and resilience in building a successful legal career.
A key highlight of the interaction was His emphasis on the significance of developing the habit of making and maintaining notes for law students and young legal professionals. He shared how systematic note-making plays a crucial role in strengthening conceptual understanding, improving legal research, and building a strong foundation for practice.
He further spoke about the changing dynamics of legal education and practice, highlighting how the present generation of students has access to extensive resources through the internet, digital platforms, and emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), which can significantly assist them in research work and enhance their learning process when utilised effectively and responsibly.
