On 18th June, 2026, under Kartavya Connect: KIIT Student–Dignitary Interaction Series (New Delhi Chapter), the student delegation of the KIIT Centre for Constitutional Law Studies and Research (CCLSR), KIIT School of Law, KIIT-DU had the privilege of paying a courtesy visit (Meet & Greet) to Hon’ble Mr. Justice Ujjal Bhuyan, Judge, Supreme Court of India, at His Lordship’s official residence- 10, Tughlak Road, New Delhi🇮🇳.
The interaction provided the delegation with an invaluable opportunity to engage with one of the distinguished members of the Supreme Court of India and gain deeper insights into the functioning of the constitutional framework, judicial philosophy, and the evolving dimensions of constitutional governance in India.
During the interaction, the students had meaningful discussions on various aspects of constitutional law, the role of the judiciary in safeguarding fundamental rights, access to justice, and the significance of maintaining constitutional values in a democratic society. His Lordship shared valuable perspectives on legal education, the responsibilities of young legal professionals, and the importance of integrity, empathy, and commitment towards the pursuit of justice.
The enriching exchange highlighted the vital role of the judiciary in upholding the rule of law and inspired the students to continue their journey towards academic excellence, legal scholarship, and responsible contribution to the legal profession.
