D.A.V. School of Business Management (DSBM), Bhubaneswar successfully organized a Faculty Development Programme on “AI-Enabled Transformative Teaching Practices for Commerce and Management Education” on 30 May 2026.

The programme was inaugurated by Prof. D. N. Mishra, Principal, DSBM and featured expert sessions by Prof. D. V. Ramana, eminent academician and educationist; Prof. Banikanta Mishra, Finance and Management expert; and CMA Satya S. Mahasuar, Cost and Management Accountant and AI practitioner. The valedictory session was graced by Prof. Ranjan Kumar Bal, eminent educationist, as the Guest of Honour.

The programme was coordinated by Dr. Adyasha Suvadarshini, Dr. Prarthana Mishra, and Ms. Sonali Pattnaik.

The programme provided a dynamic platform for faculty members to explore innovative pedagogical strategies, experiential learning methodologies, and the effective integration of Artificial Intelligence in Commerce and Management education.

An engaging and thought-provoking Debate Competition on the topic “Artificial Intelligence: A Boon or a Bane for Society” was successfully conducted at D.A.V. School of Business Management, Bhubaneswar on 17 April 2026. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students who presented insightful perspectives, reflecting critical thinking, confidence, and excellent communication skills, with Pratikshya Puhan securing First Position, Omkar Tripathy securing Second Position, and Geetlagna Patnaik securing Third Position in the competition.
