The School of Mechanical Engineering at KIIT-DU is proud to announce a significant academic milestone with the publication of groundbreaking research in the prestigious International Journal of Thermofluids, Elsevier.

Authored by the esteemed team of Ayusman Nayak, Dr. Rajiva Lochan Mohanty, and Dr. Sumanta Chaudhuri, the study titled β€œStudy of aspect ratio effect in combined shear-driven and pressure-difference driven flow characterization of a third grade fluid in a rectangular channel” offers a deep dive into complex non-Newtonian fluid dynamics.

By investigating how channel dimensions influence fluid behavior under simultaneous shear and pressure forces, this research provides essential technical frameworks for advancing industries such as extrusion technology, glass-fiber manufacturing, and biofluid engineering.
