“Giving Voice to Values (GVV) is about focusing on the things, that you know are right, but you are unable to express them effectively.”- Dr. Mary C Gentile

“Giving Voice to Values (GVV) is like a moral muscle building. If we practice speaking out our values with our peers, we will feel more confident when the actual situation comes up.”- Prof. Subhasis Ray

Xavier Institute of Management was delighted to host Dr. Mary C Gentile and Prof. Subhasis Ray, who shared their insights on the topic, "Giving Voice to Values". In the session, they briefed the students on the fundamentals and principles of GVV. They also shared their personal experiences; how they have come across so many incidents where people hesitated to voice their opinions. Then, finally, they touched upon various ways to tackle the aforesaid problem and gave some valuable life lessons.

The session was followed by an interactive Q & A round. We thank Dr. Mary C Gentile and Professor Subhasis Ray for interacting with the participants and illuminating them with their acumen.
