KIIT AVION "KIIT AVION" is the Official team of KIIT Aeronautical society for American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics- Design, Build, Fly Competition.

“KIIT AVION” is the official team from KIIT Aeronautical Society, Bhubaneswar that is striving to compete in the prestigious Cessna/Raytheon Missile Systems Student Design/Build/Fly competition . The team embraces aspiring minds of varied disciplinary backgrounds of engineering who, aim beyond the limits to achieve success in aeronautics and aviation. The team conduces to study the laws of aeronau

tics and implement them in manufacturing a Radio Controlled (R/C) aircraft to participate in one of the most important competitions of the world. The team aims to excel in the competition by dint of every member’s perseverance and commitment. The team that is divided into a couple of sub-teams, ensures division of labour so that increase in the efficiency of the team, along with skill improvisation is thoroughly achieved. The technical team oversees design, analysis and fabrication and the management team looks into purchasing, finance, marketing and sponsorship. In the journey to seek perfection ,detailed software-based and experimental analysis have been worked out, without neglecting expert validation.

Yah!!!! We flew the plane today..........each and every team gathered to see our huge plane.....it was so exciting to see so many ppl appreciating our work and supporting us...........though the weather was very bad we managed to make our plane airborne.......it was so exciting.......but like many other teams we could not make a single lap because of the irritating weather........but the degree of appreciation, accolades and respect that we received, made our day special and victorious ...... :D :D with Puja Leo Bhaniramka, Tushar Singh AND Anshul Karn

OH GOD THE WIND IS LIKE 45 MILES/HR OVER HERE...........MOST OF THE PLANES CRASHING AND STRUGGLING TO SURVIVE ONE FLIGHT...........ONES THAT SURVIVE CANT EVEN COMPLETE 3 LAPS CAUSE THEIR BATTERY DIE WHEN TRYING TO TACKLE THE STRONG WINDS.................WILL UPLOAD A VIDEO SOON AS A PROOF.....UFHHHH....TOOOOOO WINDY THIS YEAR :(
