KIIT Wordsmith feels honoured to collaborate with Airplane Poetry Movement (APM) for Open Sesame in KIITFEST 2017.

Airplane Poetry Movement is the pioneer of Spoken Word poetry in India. They have recently organised 'National Youth Poetry Slam' (NYPS) as well as 'Louder Than Words' - a spoken word tour with Sarah Kay and Phil Kaye being the star performers.

KIRTI, our annual women-centric magazine now releases its call for entries and guess what? Our editors and associate peers are staring at their screens for you to drop submissions. And, the submissions are just not related to stories and poems; you can send lifestyle advice, travelogues and stories of your woman-idol because without her lap, her hug and her mind humanity would cease to exist. Also, every gender can contribute towards the same and so, men, share with us instances of greatness of a woman that you've witnessed and the story behind it.
P.S. No relationship/date advice. Cosmopolitan accepts that, we don't.

DEADLINE EXTENDED!
Only after we close the deadline, we receive gazillion phone-calls and messages, our WhatsApp inbox gets filled with 'one-more-day' requests. Could we be any more happy?
We are proud of our varsity students for preserving the culture of writing and visual arts and deeply embedding them along with us in the form of KRITIKA. The team has already begun their month-long hardship of designing and editing. Now, by your demand, take note - time is short and we can't keep holding the clock hands. So, make way for all the submissions as we close the doors for any more entry on 17th December 2016, midnight.

आजकल नाटक, कहानी, उपन्यास, आत्मकथा, साक्षात्कार आदि हमारे जीवन के विभिन्न अंग बन गए हैं। ये हमारे जीवन को गतिशील बनाते हैं।
पर आपने कभी सोचा है कि इनका सृजन कैसे हुआ? ये किसके अंग हैं?
इस शुक्रवार हम आपका परिचय करवायेंगे हिंदी साहित्य और उसकी विधाओं से।
जैसे हरी पत्तियों के सौंदर्य को बनाये रखने के लिए उनके जड़ को जानना जरुरी होता है, वैसे ही नाटक, कहानी या उपन्यास को समझने के लिए उसके जड़ तक पहुँचना जरूरी होता है।
