Under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji and Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi Ji, Odisha is accelerating its journey towards a technology-driven future.

The Odisha Budget 2026–27 allocates ₹1,108 Crore for the Electronics & IT Department to strengthen digital infrastructure and innovation. ₹23 Crore dedicated to launching the State AI Mission, paving the way for a smarter and future-ready Odisha.

Odisha Budget 2026–27 : Powering the Semiconductor Future

Under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji and Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi Ji, Odisha is emerging as a key hub for semiconductor design and advanced technology.

The O-Chip Program, with an investment of ₹108 Crore, will strengthen Odisha’s semiconductor ecosystem, create 6,000 chip design jobs, and support the development of 50 chip design companies over the next five years.
