nment: local, regional, national, and international, KIIT school of Architecture and Planning offers full time course in architecture at undergraduate level. There is proposal for floating a Master Degree programme in Urban Planning in the coming years. With a competent faculty prominent across the breadth of the field, students are exposed to many different approaches to Architecture, Design and Planning. Critics and theorists from around the world supplement the faculty, and together, they introduce students to issues and trends in contemporary architectural design and practice. Both theory and studio sessions being viewed as core of the program, the School brings together the expertise of architecture, industrial design, interior design, landscape architecture, urban design, visual communication design, and environmental science, with relevant subjects form arts, humanities, engineering and technology. Among others, these skills include drawing, architectural presentation, research and writing, computer applications, technical and managerial aptitudes in problem definition and solution seeking.With a strong foundation of multi-disciplinary skills, the students emerge as built environment consultants par excellence guided by a strong sense of moral responsibility and accountability.

The Faculty Development Programme on Building Information Modelling (BIM) conducted from 6–10 July 2026 at KIIT School of Architecture & Planning provided faculty members with valuable exposure to the latest advancements in digital design and construction technologies. The hands-on training on Autodesk Revit was delivered by experts from Twintech India, an Autodesk-authorized partner, while Autodesk Forma sessions were conducted by Autodesk expert Mr. Manash Chatterjee. A key highlight of the programme was the introduction of Autodesk Forma, which was offered for the first time in India since its launch, as part of Autodesk's initiative to train faculty from select premier institutions. The FDP strengthened participants’ understanding of BIM workflows, AI-enabled design analysis, sustainability assessment, and collaborative project delivery, equipping them to effectively integrate emerging industry practices into teaching, research, and professional practice.
