The initiative focuses on several core components designed to improve safety, disease tracking, and community resilience:

Key Components of NOHP-PCZ Implementation

Integrated Surveillance of Zoonoses: Establishing and strengthening sentinel surveillance sites to systematically collect, analyze, and share data across health and veterinary sectors to monitor spatial and temporal trends of zoonotic outbreaks.

Integrated Community Outreach: Engaging grassroots communities and conducting joint capacity-building programs for frontline health and veterinary workers, prioritizing high-risk and vulnerable populations.

Advocacy and Risk Communication: Developing Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials to build awareness and promote preventative measures among the public regarding zoonotic threats.

Successful Completion of the Six Animal Health Camps!

Thrilled to announce the successful conclusion of multi-village Animal Health Camps, jointly organized by the Veterinary College, Hassan, Agriculture College, Hassan, and the Department of AHVS, Hassan.

Held across six different villages in Channapatna Taluk, Hassan District, this impactful collaborative initiative achieved incredible milestones:

🩺 Nearly 1,100 animals were examined and provided with critical veterinary treatment.

💊 Around 15 pharmaceutical companies actively participated as part of the RAWE programme, contributing vital resources to ensure the event's success.

Designed to merge veterinary curriculum with foundational agriculture, the drive saw enthusiastic participation from both faculty members and future veterinarians.
