Educational Tour to Amritsar - BFA Students
(24-27 September 2026)

The B.F.A. students recently embarked on an enriching educational tour to Amritsar, combining art, culture, history and heritage in a memorable learning experience.

During the tour, students visited the magnificent Golden Temple, experiencing its breathtaking architecture, intricate detailing, serene surroundings and beautiful night illumination. The students also witnessed the Beating Retreat Ceremony at Attari–Wagah Border, and explored important historical and cultural landmarks including Jallianwala Bagh, the Partition Museum and Gobindgarh Fort.

For our budding artists, the tour offered valuable opportunities to observe architecture, visual composition, heritage spaces, light, colour, traditional art and cultural expressions beyond the classroom.

Inter-College Swimming Tournament 2026–27
(18 September 2026)

College hosted the Maharaja Ganga Singh University Inter-College Swimming Tournament (Men & Women) 2026–27 on 18 September 2026 at Rajiv Gandhi Tarantaal, M.M. Ground, Bikaner.

The tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation of talented swimmers from various colleges affiliated with Maharaja Ganga Singh University, Bikaner, competing across multiple swimming disciplines and distances. The event provided a vibrant platform for young sportspersons to demonstrate their talent, determination, discipline and competitive spirit.

The championship featured a range of events including 50m, 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m and 1500m races across Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke, Butterfly and Individual Medley categories.

NCC Cadet Selection

The NCC enrolment process was successfully completed today. The candidates underwent physical tests, medical examination, and document verification and all vacant seats have been filled, with SD (Senior Division) Boys Cadets and SW (Senior Wing) Girls Cadets.

Har Ghar Tiranga: NSS Volunteers Spread the Message of Patriotism

As part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign initiated by the Government of India in celebration of the 80th Independence Day, the two NSS units of B.J.S. Rampuria Jain College, Bikaner, jointly organised a one-day awareness and outreach programme for their volunteers.

Students were encouraged to actively participate in the initiative, hoist the Tricolour at their homes, and carry the message of patriotism to the community. Newly enrolled volunteers were also briefed about various NSS activities to be organised ahead of Independence Day, with an appeal to ensure 100% participation in the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.

As part of the outreach activity, the volunteers visited the Gramin Haat exhibition at JN Vyas Colony, Bikaner where they explored a range of handcrafted and indigenous products. The visit provided them an opportunity to understand and appreciate the importance of promoting Swadeshi products, traditional crafts and local artisans.

The volunteers subsequently visited Laleshwar Mahadev Temple at Shivbari, where they interacted with members of the public and spread awareness about the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.

Landscape Class: a beautiful blend of art, history, and creativity as our BFA students explored and sketched at a historical site.

Surrounded by heritage architecture, timeless stories, and artistic inspiration, the students captured the essence of the place through their creative vision and observation skills. Such outdoor sessions not only enhance artistic techniques but also connect young artists with culture, history, and the beauty of real-life landscapes.

Learning beyond the classroom always creates unforgettable experiences!

Fine Arts students had the enriching opportunity to visit: “Mapping Cultures”, a rare photography exhibition showcasing the remarkable works of Elizabeth Simson (1931–2025) at the Centre for Life, Dharam Sajjan Trust, Gangashahar, Bikaner.

The exhibition beautifully captures the rural essence of Rajasthan through timeless images reflecting its soil, colours, traditions, and everyday life. It was an inspiring experience for our students to witness such a meaningful cultural presentation and gain deeper artistic insights.
