A two-day Workshop on AI and Robotics was successfully organized by the Department of Physics, Jawaharlal Nehru College, Boko, in collaboration with Aryabhatta Science Centre, Boko Block on 6th and 7th March 2026.

The workshop created an interactive learning space for students to explore the growing world of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics through insightful discussions and engaging sessions. Grateful to all the participants and organizers for making the programme a meaningful and enriching experience.

An insightful workshop on Innovative Practices was conducted on 18th February 2026 by the IIC, J. N. College Boko, in collaboration with the Department of Geography. The resource person, Dr. Tarali Kalita from Cotton University, engaged students in an enriching session on sustainable sericulture. She discussed innovative techniques and showcased creative designs made from Muga and Eri silkworm cocoons, inspiring students to explore eco-friendly and sustainable practices.
The program was graciously attended by Dr. Tapan Dutta, Principal of J. N. College, and Dr. Ranjit Baisya, Associate Professor, Department of Physics, whose presence added great value to the event.

On 16th January, 2026 National Startup Day was organised by the Entrepreneurship Development Center in collaboration with Incubation Center, IIC & NSS Unit of Jawaharlal Nehru College, Boko. Respected Principal, Dr. Tapan Dutta sir was present as the Resource person of today's online programme & enlightened the entrepreneurial minds on the topic Role of Entrepreneurs in Viksit Bharat. Almost 70 participants not only attended the programme but were also engaged into high interaction. Along with Principal sir, IC Coordinator Dr. Alimpa Bhuyan Boruah shed light on Entrepreneurship and it's contribution to India’s economy, EDC Center Head Dr. Bapukan Saikia moderated the programme and speaks on the importance of the day and IIC Coordinator Dr. Sangita Das offered vote of thanks.
