Dear UITians,
Pawan Kumar is suffering from Severe Aplastic Anemia (SAA), and his life is hanging in the balance, and his condition is deteriorating every day.
Pawan Kumar is the eldest son of Chandan Kumar and is 9 years old.
This ailing condition can be reversed, and he can be healthy again by successful Bone Marrow Transplantation.
CMC Vellore has given a cost approximation of INR 4000000 (Forty lakh) for unmatched HLA Donor, while the cost approximation of AIIMS, Delhi is still pending.
Chandan Kumar Singh is a UIT alumnus (AEIE 2003-07). He is in dire need of financial assistance from us, the fellow UIT alumni, to come out of this crisis. COVID-19 hit him severely as he was left in between jobs for over a year. Therefore like many among us, he can't arrange INR 4000000 (Forty lakh) to save his son.
We, therefore, request all Alumni members of UIT to come forward and help him come out of this challenging situation.
It is our humble appeal to all our fellow UITians to donate according to their will and capacity in this urgent medical cause.
Your donation can save a life, and therefore we look forward to your good judgment and compassion.
This kind of treatment is a long-term process spanning over 6 months to 2 years.
Assuming at least 100 Alumni members volunteering in the Donation Campaign, we are aiming to raise a fund of INR 500000 (Five Lakh) on an urgent basis for now. So if you are not sure about the donation amount, our suggestion would be INR 5000.
Otherwise, all donations (however large or small) are welcome as every penny counts in this effort.
We sincerely acknowledge, appreciate, and thank you in advance for your generous contributions.
We will keep on posting regular health updates of Pawan Kumar.
We will also share the donation received to maintain transparency and clarity.
