QUESTION REMAINS

Is a song a poem or a poem a song?
One a piece of vocal, another a downpour of words!
Flip-flap of phrases like the spirals in a helix,
Poetry is a painting without acrylics,
Stacked with emotions, unexpressed;
Holds a melody, only the worthy can acknowledge.
And a song?
Well,
Beneath the clips and claps of a musical orchestra,
In the retornello of instruments,
Exists story beneath extravaganza;
The do-re-mi's of music,
Is always beyond acoustics.
Is a song a poem or a poem a song?
They say that rain is a poetry of blossomed terrain,
But peacocks dance in the song of the rain!
Rustling of leaves create symphony,
Poems get penned down on the greenery.
Confused me fails to find this geometry!
Is a song a poem or a poem a song?
Poetry has a tune unattained,
Music has a rhyming scheme - unstressed.
One needs to be understood,
Other to be felt;
In the darkest of times, or the merriest of day,
When your heart has something to convey, when your eyes beckon with allure,
Or you feel remorseful of a futile endeavour;
It's then you grab the pen to pen a poetry,
You sing it aloud, create an unbidden melody;
Q song, that relieves from the anguish
And a poetry that makes pain relinquish.
Out of poetry, a song thus is born,
Inked on paper, always is a song unsung.
Song is to poem or poem is to song,
I leave onto you,
For the conclusion can't be drawn!
