Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology (Degree Wing) commemorated Republic Day 2026 at the college campus with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor. The celebration began with the unfurling of the National Flag by Dr. R. B. Patel, Professor Incharge Academics, in the presence of all Heads of Departments, office bearers of the Student Council, Incharge NSS, and Incharge Clubs.

The event, organized by the Student Council, featured a series of cultural performances including the patriotic song “Main Bharat Hoon,” a thought-provoking poem, a vibrant patriotic dance by the Beatles Club, and a melodious group song by the 7-Notes Club. The programme concluded with a motivational address by Dr. R. B. Patel, inspiring students to uphold constitutional values and actively contribute to nation-building.

The club’s band, Aavartan, delivered an outstanding performance in the Battle of Bands, securing First Place in the prelims and Third Place in the finals, competing against top bands from across the country.

The Dramatics Society – Dramebaaz of Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology (CCET) proudly represented the college at Thomso 2025, the annual cultural festival of IIT Roorkee, held from 24th to 26th October 2025. Competing against leading institutions from across North India in the Nukkad Natak (Street Play) Competition, Team Dramebaaz delivered a stellar performance, securing First Position and the Best Ensemble Award for their impactful message, coordination, and energy.

The competition brought together talented students from three major engineering disciplines - Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, and Mechanical Engineering.
