Workshop on "Science of Happiness" Organized by BBA LLB Department, UILS, Chandigarh University

The Department of BBA LLB, University Institute of Legal Studies (UILS), Chandigarh University, successfully organized a workshop on the *"Science of Happiness"* on January 14, 2025. The session aimed to explore the concept of happiness from a scientific and philosophical perspective and promote well-being among the participants.

The workshop was conducted by Prof. Anil Yogi, Professor of Yoga and Naturopathy at Madhav University, Abu Road, who served as the expert speaker for the session. With his vast knowledge and experience, Prof. Yogi delivered an inspiring talk on the importance of mental and emotional well-being. He shared practical insights on how individuals can enhance their happiness through mindfulness, positive thinking, and a balanced lifestyle.

The session was an engaging and interactive experience, with Prof. Yogi guiding participants through various techniques and exercises that promote inner peace and joy. His positive energy and motivational approach left the audience feeling inspired and energized.

More than 200 students and faculty members attended the workshop, benefiting from Prof. Yogi’s valuable guidance on cultivating happiness in daily life. The event emphasized the connection between mental health and success, encouraging participants to incorporate happiness-enhancing practices into their personal and professional lives.

The workshop was a part of the department’s ongoing efforts to promote holistic development among students, enabling them to achieve not only academic excellence but also mental and emotional well-being.

University Institute of Legal Studies (UILS), Chandigarh University Organizes Two-Day National Conference*

The University Institute of Legal Studies (UILS), Chandigarh University, successfully organized a two-day National Conference on January 11th and 12th, 2025, bringing together legal experts, scholars, and students from across the country. The conference, which was a significant academic event, provided an insightful platform for deliberations on various aspects of law, justice, and the evolving legal landscape.

The inaugural session was graced by the presence of the Hon'ble Justice Sandeep Moudgill, Judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, who was the Chief Guest for the occasion. His presence added immense value to the proceedings, as he shared his valuable insights on the contemporary issues in the judicial system. The Hon'ble Justice Rajesh Tandon, Former Judge of the Uttarakhand High Court, was the Guest of Honor, offering his expert perspective on the evolving trends in legal education and practice.

The conference witnessed participation from over 200 delegates, including legal professionals, academicians, and students, who engaged in thought-provoking discussions and presentations on a range of legal topics. The sessions included paper presentations, expert talks, and panel discussions, fostering a dynamic exchange of ideas and contributing to the development of legal thought and scholarship.

The event was organized with the aim of enhancing legal knowledge, encouraging academic research, and fostering collaboration among various stakeholders in the legal field. The conference successfully fulfilled its objective of providing a platform for legal minds to come together, deliberate, and share their expertise.

The two-day event concluded with a vote of thanks to all the dignitaries, participants, and organizing members who contributed to its success.

Pleased to share that the "Law Conclave, 2024 - Legal Pathways: A Conclave on Specialized Legal Practice and Theory," held on October 26, 2024, at University Institute of Legal Studies (UILS), Chandigarh University, was a resounding success!
The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Hon'ble Mr. Justice Pankaj Jain, Judge, Punjab and Haryana High Court, who inaugurated the conclave with his insightful remarks on the evolving landscape of law and justice.
