We are delighted to share that University Business School organised a webinar on “Building Brand Trust” with Ms. Anita Sahoo, Brand Marketing and E-commerce head at KFC as our guest speaker. The session was a very realistic one which accounted for all current world’s scenario making it relatable to everyone.
The session covered key strategies that KFC adopted to take a positive turnaround. Anita ma’am also showed how KFC maintains its brand value and initiatives that are taken to build the brand wider and stronger. One big learning from the session was the importance of propose marketing in building trust. This session was an inspiration to all to analyse need for the hour in building brand when there is a setback.

We are honored to have Ms. Shivangi Sharma, founder of Psysquare as our speaker for the webinar held by University Business School on ‘CV building’. The session was very informative which kept the audience engaged throughout.

The session began with outlining difference between generally interchanged terms - CV and resume. Shivangi ma’am expressed the common mistakes that are commonly noticed in CVs and gave key tips to prepare an ideal CV. The appropriate use of funny GIFs and interactive tasks in presentation couldn’t draw participants’ eyes off the screen.

The session covered all the key tips and tricks for CV that served to be confidence building in students. We would like to thank you for taking out your valuable time and addressing the participants with your insights. We wish to host you again in our future sessions.

We are delighted to host a session with Shivangi Sharma, founder of Psysquare.
Shivangi Ma’am completed her BA in Psychology Honors from Panjab University in 2014, after which she completed MSc in Psychology (Human Resource Development and Management) from Christ University, Bangalore and then MBA in Entrepreneurship studies from California State University.

She has worked in technology, healthcare, hospitality, education, and transportation sectors to gain an array of exposure and experience in research. She is a Lead Researcher at UX Rescue. Her venture, Psysquare aims to enhance graduate students' employment skills and life skills through customized training and mentoring programs.

Shivangi ma’am will be addressing our students on ‘CV building’. Since CV is face of a student aspiring for a corporate career, this session be a very informative and need of the hour session.

It gives us an immense pleasure to share with you, our experience in today’s session on Personality Development in which our honorable speaker, Dr.Amandeep Kahlon Sandhu laid emphasis on the role patience and perspective play in shaping ones personality. She believes that personal development occurs when you take a meaningful role on how want to grow. No matter how many times the odds stand against you, passion and perseverance have the power to always keep you focused on your goals. She says that people with a growth mindset tend to embrace the challenges that come their way and ensure that their every step is directed towards finding the solutions. This session was an eye-opener for many of us and we would like to thank her precious for sparing time for us and we look forward to have such sessions with her in the coming future.

It was our honor to have Mr. Abhijeet Sharma, Manager-Business Development at Flipkart amongst us as our speaker in the webinar on the topic “Resume Building, Interview Preparation and Profile Selection”. We genuinely appreciate the time and efforts he took to share with us his valuable insights.
He started the lecture by emphasizing on the importance of the resume in one’s career, as resume says a lot about a person. It determines whether one will be called in for an interview or not. He said that resume should be concise and on point. Besides, he guided students about the strategies and ways to make a resume that catches the eye of interviewer and what recruiters look for in a resume. He told us about ways to customize resume while applying for specific roles and how one can ensure that interview goes in direction that one has pre-determined. He firmly believes that one should remain honest in an interview. Also, he told students about ways to deal with stress interviews.
Truly, the session had been a great learning experience for all the students of University Business School. On the behalf of entire UBS family, we wish Mr. Abhijeet Sharma all the success and happiness in his future ventures.
