As part of the Janmashtami celebration, the Department of Civil Engineering is organizing a Matki Decoration Competition for students of all branches. 🎨πŸͺ”
πŸ“… Date: 04/09/2026 (Friday )
⏰ Time: 12:00 PM
πŸ“ Venue: Civil Engineering Department, Bajaj Chandrapur Polytechnic, Chandrapur
πŸ‘₯ Team Size: 2–3 students per team
🏺 Matki: Each team must bring their own earthen matki. The base colour may be done before the competition.
⏱️ Decoration Time: 60 minutes
🦚 Theme: Janmashtami / Lord Krishna
πŸŽ€ Students must bring their own decoration materials such as beads, mirrors, ribbons, lace, flowers, jute, peacock feathers, etc.
❌ No ready-made decorative items or designs already fixed on the matki will be permitted. All actual decoration work must be completed during the competition.
πŸ† Prizes: Winner, 1st Runner-up & 2nd Runner-up
πŸ“ Last Date for Registration: 02/09/2026 (Saturday) before 4:00 PM.

Celebrating Talent, Confidence & Creativity!

We are delighted to celebrate TECHNOMIND EVENT 2026, held on 22 August 2026, providing students with an inspiring platform to showcase their stage performance, confidence, creativity and stage presence. The event featured enthusiastic participation from Nirbhay Dorkhande EE-5K, Chinmay kanmode EJ-5K, Harish manusmare CE-5K, Priyanshu Dhakite CO-5K ,Aditi Sonare MS-3K

The event was conducted under the guidance of Event In-charge Mr. Tejaskumar Rewatkar, with the valuable support of Co-Incharges Ms. Hajra Jinat Ali and Ms. Divya Atram. The occasion was graciously graced by our respected Principal Ms. Swati Chaudhary Ma’am and Vice Principal Mr. Vijay Koyal Sir.

As a part of the Highway Engineering subject, the Second Year CE 3K students visited a road construction site where flexible pavement work was in progress. The visit was organized to provide students with practical exposure to the various stages involved in flexible pavement construction and to help them understand how the concepts studied in the classroom are applied at an actual construction site.
During the visit, the students observed various construction activities, materials, equipment, quality-control practices, and safety measures followed at the site. The site supervisors also guided the students and explained the construction process in detail, making the visit highly informative and valuable.
It was a matter of great pride for us that the site was being *supervised by Mr. Manoj Buriwar,* who is an alumnus of Bajaj Chandrapur Polytechnic, Chandrapur. The *Sub-Contractor, Mr. Nawale,* is also an alumnus of our college. Both of them interacted with the students and shared their practical experiences and positive insights about the college. Their guidance and achievements reflected the strong foundation and practical education provided by our institution.

On the occasion of her 16th Death Anniversary, we lovingly remember our respected Baiji – Smt. Yashodharadevi Bajaj, Founder of Sarvodaya Mahila Mandal, Chandrapur and Dalit Mitra, Former Minister of State.

Her life was a beautiful example of selfless service, compassion, dedication, and commitment to society. Her noble values and inspiring legacy continue to guide us and remain forever etched in our hearts.

Today, we bow with deep respect and gratitude, remembering Baiji’s cherished memories and indomitable spirit. Her contribution will continue to inspire generations to come.
