Synergy-2026 Highlights Innovation and Engineering Excellence
IEI Nashik & SNJBCoE hosted a national-level project competition with strong participation from diverse technical streams.

The Synergy-2026 National Level Project Competition was organized by The Institution of Engineers (India), Nashik Local Centre in association with SNJB’s Late Sau. Kantabai Bhavarlalji Jain College of Engineering, Chandwad and successfully conducted at IEI Nashik on April 26, 2026 The event was supported by Title Sponsor PMEA Solar Tech Solutions Ltd.

Over 540+ students participated through 135 project teams, with 33 teams shortlisted for the final round

The valedictory function was graced by Mr. Sarang Mandivekar (GM, BSNL) as Chief Guest and Er. Manish M. Kothari (President, IEI) as Guest of Honour.

Er. Manish M. Kothari emphasized engineering excellence, professional development, and industry-academia collaboration.
Mr. Sarang Mandivekar highlighted innovation-driven learning and real-world problem solving.

🏆 Winners:
1st Prize– “Production and Characterization of Bioplastics from Black Soldier Fly Protein and Biopolymers for Sustainable Application” (AISSMS COE, Pune)
2nd Prize – “Bolingo: AI-Powered Multilingual Communication Platform” (SNJB COE, Chandwad)
3rd Prize– “Design and Development of Onion Harvester” (SNJB COE, Chandwad)

Consolation:
“EpiScan: Handheld Device for Skin Disorder Analysis” (GGSCERC, Nashik)
“Simudrone” (SNJB COE, Chandwad)

The event was successfully coordinated by Dr. Neha Bora (Faculty Coordinator) and Dr. Mahesh R. Sanghavi (Program Director) with support from IEI members, SNJB faculty, and student volunteers.

Strong support was provided by Dr. R. G. Tated (Director, SNJB COE) and the SNJB Management.

Synergy-2026 reaffirmed its role as a platform for innovation, collaboration, and engineering excellence, with a vision to grow further in the coming years.

SNJB IIW Students Chapter successfully conducted a virtual expert lecture on “Avoiding Corrosion in Desalination Plants.”

The session was delivered by Dr. Roger Francis (Consultant, Nickel Institute, Toronto, Canada) with the support of the International Molybdenum Association.

A total of 21 students from SNJB actively participated and benefited from the expert insights shared during the session.
