MES College of Arts & Sciences, Chathamangalam The institution aims at promoting education of the highest quality in the field of arts and sciences hereby enhancing the literary capabilities. A.

Established in the year 2005 with three degree courses namely B.sc(Costume & Fashion Designing) , B.sc.(Microbiology) and B.com, the college was the result of the fruition of the efforts of the Kozhikode District Committee of Muslim Educational Society at a time when self financing Colleges offering job oriented Courses had come into the vogue and alla the courses were verymuch indemand. The very

next year the college was shifted to the present site with the necessary infrastructure facilities. Over the years the college has carved out a niche for itself in the academic arena with high pass percentage at the Uiversity examinations and good placement record. Newage courses as well as conventional courses were added and at present the college offeres the more graduate programmes apart from a post graduate programme namely B.A (English), B.sc.(Computer Science), B.B.A and M.com. Co curricular activities provide the students the much needed impetus to showcase their talents. Under the able guidance of a group of committed teachers, our students have been able to win prizes at the zonal level competitions under the University. Physical Education Department of the college imparts training to our students in a variety of sports events and games. Hopefully the will make their presence at the collegiate and inter collegiate level competitions in the year to come. At the helm of affairs of the college is Prof. Abdul Azeez.His successful track-record in managerial positions in different organizations has enabled him to steer the institution in the path to progress in an atmosphere of discipline conducive to studies serious and contemplation.
