During my internship with the Fund Finance group within Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB), I gained valuable exposure to the complexities of private equity and investment banking.

This experience significantly expanded my technical knowledge and provided me with hands-on insight into specialized financial operations.

Furthermore, the collaborative culture and emphasis on work-life balance at Wells Fargo fostered both my professional advancement and personal growth. I am incredibly grateful for this opportunity and the mentorship I received throughout my tenure.

Some paths are more than just a way to get somewhere.

This walkway has witnessed early morning rushes, late-night conversations, countless walks with friends, and quiet moments of reflection between classes and hostel life.

For many, it became the backdrop to friendships, stories, and memories that shaped their Great Lakes journey.

Every step here holds a little piece of campus life. 💙

What’s your most memorable moment on this pathway?

What happens when you take away the comfort of individual performance and make success dependent on someone else?

At GLIM HYROX: Buddy Pair Edition, 18 teams took on four physically demanding challenges that tested far more than endurance. Every round began with a 900-metre run, but the real challenge was learning to move as a team, pace together, communicate under pressure, and keep going when fatigue set in.

The evening was a reminder that resilience is rarely an individual trait. In classrooms, workplaces, and on the field, progress often depends on how well we collaborate when things get difficult.

What stood out wasn’t just the competition, but the moments in between. Teammates pushing each other forward, participants cheering for competitors, and the shared understanding that some challenges are easier when you don’t face them alone.

Because sometimes, the strongest test of character isn’t how far you can go by yourself. It’s how far you’re willing to go for your team.

My internship at BigBasket taught me the value of combining technology with data-driven decision-making.

During this experience, I worked on both full-stack development and data analysis, gaining hands-on exposure to real business challenges.

I contributed to developing and enhancing application features across front-end and back-end systems, worked with databases, and analyzed operational data to derive meaningful insights. This helped me understand how technology and analytics can be leveraged to improve processes and support business objectives.

Along the way, I strengthened my skills in full-stack development, data analysis, database management, business analytics, Microsoft Excel, problem-solving, teamwork, communication, and project management. Working in a dynamic and collaborative environment also helped me develop a practical understanding of how cross-functional teams work together to deliver impactful solutions.

Grateful for the learning, mentorship, and growth opportunities that made this experience so valuable.

Growing Green, Growing Together 🌱

Some changes begin with grand gestures. Others begin with a sapling, a handful of soil, and a community willing to show up.

This World Environment Day, students, faculty, and staff at Great Lakes came together for a plantation drive, adding a little more green to the campus we call home.

Years from now, these trees and plants will offer shade, colour, and life to future batches. Today, they stand as a reminder that building a better future often starts with small, collective actions.

Here’s to growing a greener campus and a stronger sense of responsibility, together.

Some places quietly become part of our everyday memories.

The Bistro has seen countless conversations over coffee, shared meals, quick catch-ups, and moments of connection that made campus life a little more special.

The space may have changed over the years, but the memories made here continue to stay.

What’s the first Bistro memory that comes to your mind? 💙
