đ« *âThe Lack of Shadow is Beautiful as wellâ*đ«says a team of *budding Engineers and Scientists* from *E&T I Year* in an *Astronomical event* â *Zero Shadow Day* *2025â* observed on 24-4-25 between *12:07pm and 12: 21pm* to impinge on the intricacies of the movement of the Earth around the Sun.
The *fervour on astronomy* engulfed the young minds as they upheld the *tangible demonstrations* of the Earthâs tilt and its effect on the *Sunâ apparent path across the sky* .
The team showcased *zero shadow of the various objects* placed in a *vertical position* .
A *Science activity* of *measuring the length* of the *shadow of the vertical pole* during 12:07pm and 12:21pm at regular intervals, involving the latitude and longitude destined its way to calculate the *circumference and the radius of Earth* using *Eratothenes method* .
The *day archived* its credit with the *joy of learning astronomical parameters* teamed with *real-time practices* for the students as well.
We thank the *ARI â Dr.MGR ERI* for their prompt in demonstrating the *drone view* of the event.
Our *sincere gratitude* to our *Honâble President* for his *kind consent* in *promoting astronomical fervour* amidst the young minds.
