As part of the First-Year Induction Programme, a Storyboard Creation Activity was conducted to encourage creativity, visual thinking, and effective communication among the newly admitted students. The activity introduced students to the process of expressing ideas and experiences through a sequence of sketches, images, text, and visual elements. Working individually or in groups, students developed storyboards based on given themes, translating their thoughts into a coherent visual narrative. The activity provided an engaging platform for students to explore their imagination, develop observation and storytelling skills, and build confidence in presenting their ideas. It also encouraged interaction and collaboration among the students, helping them become familiar with the creative and communicative aspects of architectural education.

4th-year B.Arch students step out of the studio and into the field! 📐🏥As part of their Semester VII Healthcare Design studio, our 4th-year B.Arch students recently visited Kauvery Hospital, Chennai, for an intensive, real-world hospital case study.Designing a multi-specialty healthcare facility is one of the most complex challenges an architecture student faces. It demands a flawless balance between critical medical zoning and heavy MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) infrastructure.During the site visit, students analyzed how a major tertiary care hospital effectively manages a large volume of patients within a highly compact, vertical urban footprint.
