🩸 A Drop of Blood. A Gift of Life. | Youth Red Cross Blood Donation Camp 2026 ❤️

🤝 As an inaugural initiative of the Youth Red Cross (YRC), Tamil Nadu State Branch, the YRC Unit of Sri Venkateswaraa Medical College Hospital and Research Institute organised an awareness programme and voluntary blood donation camp on 15 October 2026 at the college premises.

🩺 Dr. Soundarya, Blood Bank Medical Officer, delivered an informative session highlighting the importance of voluntary blood donation and its vital role in saving lives.

❤️ The initiative aimed to promote voluntary blood donation and nurture compassion, social responsibility, and a spirit of humanitarian service among students.

Sri Venkateswaraa University proudly highlights the active participation of B.Sc. Allied Health Sciences students in the Food Club Activity and Heart Health Awareness Rally held on 30 September 2026 as part of the World Heart Day celebrations.

🎓 STRENGTHENING INSTITUTIONAL QUALITY | NAAC ORIENTATION PROGRAMME 2026

Sri Venkateswaraa University (SVU), through its Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), organized a NAAC Orientation Programme on “Understanding NAAC Accreditation: Criteria, Process, Key Expectations and Institutional Preparedness” on 7 October 2026.

Prof. Dr. Padma Srikanth, MD, Research Director and Advisor, Academic Systems and Laboratory Diagnostics, Madha Medical College & Research Institute, Chennai, was the Resource Person.

Dr. E. Susithra, Associate Director (IQAC), delivered the Welcome Address. Dr. B. Sivapathasundaram, Pro Vice-Chancellor, addressed the gathering, while Dr. V. Srinivasan (Research) introduced the Resource Person.

Prof. Dr. Padma Srikanth delivered an insightful and interactive session highlighting the significance of NAAC accreditation and the key indicators involved in the accreditation process. The programme was followed by an engaging discussion and interaction with faculty members.
