The clock is running, and so is every team in this hall at Anna University. This is what it looks like when young engineers stop studying problems and start solving them.
For 22 hours, 290 students from 60 institutions are working on 8 real problems set by 8 companies — no textbook answer, just their thinking against the deadline. Teams are designing everything from subsea pipeline leak detection to modular UAV platforms and additively manufactured drone parts. Mentors are on the floor. The jury is watching. And somewhere in this room, a team is about to crack something no one has solved yet.
This is Brain Bolt – The Engineers Sprint, a national engineering make-a-thon where undergraduate teams from across India take on industry-set challenges and are judged on how well they design and prove out a solution under pressure.
Think fast. Build faster. Solve what matters.
