The Students Association of Management studies (SAMS), School Of Management made its grand appearance with its 18th inaugural function dated on 20th November, 2012.
VENUE: MBA seminar hall at 11.00 AM
Adorned by some of the most inspirational and eminent speakers.
The event started out with an invocation followed by the welcome address given by Ms. C. Ramya, the Student Secretary, SAMS.
The honouring of the guests was done by Dr. Jayashree Suresh Dean, School of Management, following which The Annual Report (2011-12) was presented by Ms. Sarakshi Handa I MBA.
The guest of honour, a proud alumnus of SRM School of management, Mr. Eva Stalin is a great dreamer, a believer in success and graduated with high potential and persistence. In 2007 he started ‘Eva Stalin IAS academy’ which has created 40 civil servants. With no stop for his achievements he has started a business school this year. Mr. Eva Stalin shared his secrets of success and growth inspiring young minds to achieve beyond their wildest imagination.
The chief guest, Mr. Murali M Sundaram – Happyness coach ignited our minds with his inspirational and motivational speech that stirred us to the marvellous point of celebration.
Mr. Murali is an Inspirational Speaker, Facilitator, Coach & an International Trainer, student of Brian Tracy – world’s renowned management guru, a trained Pharmacist, has over 16 years of experience in the training industry & selling space. He has successfully trained more than 75,000 Professionals, Executives & Students on Personal, Managerial & Leadership Effectiveness, Organizational Development, Peak Performance & Wellness. He is the Director & Happyness Coach of Excel People Centric Solutions Pvt ltd and the Co-founder of TGR-Happyness Circle.
He left us with this wonderful thought - "With just several syllables, many icons have cemented their legacies and left a framework for how to lead." It is these euphoric speeches that have us enamoured, the breath-taking statements that got us riled up and excited for what we now believe is possible.
This was followed by the introduction of the office bearers and future activities for the year (2012-13) which was presented by Mr. G.A. Prithvi, the joint secretary of SAMS,
After which certificates for participation in a workshop conducted by Madras Management Association (MMA) were distributed.
With this prolific start, SAMS this year, has come together, with the perfect storm of great leadership, dedication, passion and potential to produce rare heights of success. With dedication and passion, all that has been achieved previously are just a trailer for what the SAMS has in store.
