Online Photography - MAD ANGLES
HOW TO ENTER:
1) Theme : People,Nature,Places.
2) There is no limit on the number of entries per person.
3) All entries must be submitted in digital format by sending your entries to our e-mail id - [email protected] or [email protected]
4) Include a title for the Photograph, a written description (100 words or less) of the “moment” captured the location where the Photograph was taken and your complete contact details (name, dept, college name, mobile number, e-mail id).
5) All photograph submissions must be in JPEG or JPG format, and must be at least 1,600 pixels wide (if a horizontal image) or 1,600 pixels tall (if a vertical image).
6) Minor burning, dodging and/or color correction is acceptable. Hand tinting is acceptable, as is cropping.
7) The caption must be complete and accurate, sufficient to convey the circumstances in which the photograph was taken
8) Entries must be the original and unpublished work of the participant and copyright owner.
RULES AND CONDITIONS:
1) The contest consists of two (2) rounds of evaluation. The judges will use the same Judging Criteria in each round. The top candidates in Round One will proceed to Round Two.
2) Round One will be selected as Finalists and will proceed to Round Two. All Finalists will be contacted by Email or mobile number and asked to come with your camera on September 29th 2014, either DSLR or any digital point & shoot camera (basic digital camera) are allowed. Mobile phone cameras are strictly not allowed
3) In Round Two, the categories will be given on the spot, and you have to shoot based on the given topic no post processing is allowed.
4) Editing features in the camera is allowed.(Filtered black and white, soft focus, fish eye view). Oil painting effects and other image distorting effects are strictly prohibited
5) Judges decision will be final, and arguing with judges or co-ordinators will result in elimination of the participant and all his entries.
JUDGING CRITERIA:
1) Photographic Quality (50%)
2) Extent to which the Photograph conveys a sense of exploration (25%)
3) The quality of the Description and its relationship to the Photograph and the theme of exploration (25%)
