The generation today does not want to wait till tomorrow to contribute to a better, more progressive and brighter India. You can make an immediate difference today by directly educating the minds of tomorrow. You can redefine teaching and bring students from low-income backgrounds to achieve at a level similar to their wealthier peers. You can build outstanding leadership skills in these two years through our teaching methods, our training models and the community project that you will manage. Your direct involvement at a grass-roots level will empower you to consider long-term systemic impact of your decisions in your academic or professional career after the fellowship. But most importantly, you will build patience, perseverance, planning and organizational skills while gaining humility and maturity – all integral skills to be part of the upcoming generation of our nation’s leaders. How does Teach for India fit into your long-term plans? Your contribution to Teach for India is important to us and we aim to create meaningful opportunities for the TFI alum.
