26.4.2021 is a very sad day for us. With a very heavy heart we would like to say that, Mythily, a dear student from the batch 2012-2016 has left us for her heavenly home.
Mythily was an exceptional student. Not only was she very good in her creative studies but was exemplary in her behavior with her peers and elders. Always with a smiling face and a kind heart.
Mythily your absence on this earth will be missed not just by your family but by all of us. We will meet you one day, on the other side. Till then Rest in Peace.

Today, on January 6, 2018, early in the afternoon, we came to know of a tragic and extremely shocking news. One of our DBCAD student Meher Bharath from the batch of 2012 -2016, passed away in a freak motorcycle accident.
It has brought great sadness to our hearts. Bharath was a good student and a good human being. We have put together a small slideshow of few of the memories that we have of him. This is to tell you Bharath that we love you and will always cherish you. Wherever you are right now, may you find the peace that your heart always longed for. And when you meet your creator may it be the begining of an eternity of joy, love and happiness. This is our prayer for you.
We request all our DBCAD family to pause a moment for a prayer for Bharath's soul, whenever you can. Rest in peace, Bharath.

On October 7th, 2017, we bid adieu to the 3rd graduating batch of B.A VDC (2014-2017).
We believe and pray that this life becomes all that you want it to be. Your dreams stay big and your worries stay small. You never need to carry more than you can hold...and while you are out there getting where you are getting to; I hope you know that your 'Alma Mater', DBCAD family loves you and wishes you the very best!
This post will not be complete if I did not mention the wonderful event that was hosted and organized by present third year students of B.A VDC. They went out of the way to make the evening awesome and memorable. From the decorations to the gifts...to the beautiful sit down dinner, under the starry lights! TYVDC ,you guys were not only generous but selfless too! . You demonstrated the heart of Don Bosco....and I am sure he is so proud of you. No words to thank you guys!

Introducing the Centre for Excellence in Design, a division of Don Bosco College.
The Centre for Excellence in Design reaches out to an audience who hitherto have been excluded from mainstream education and educational institutions.
The new initiative will offer short - term courses that will prepare you for the rigors of Industry Practice or simply help you enhance and advance your knowledge and application of Design.
in it's usual manner the uniquely designed and individually customizable programs, a first in Chennai City, will equip you meet your individual and specific objectives.
