CIT Harita Composite Research Center Center of Excellence for Design and Digital Manufacturing CIT-Harita CRC included itself in enhancing the technical skills for design and digital manufacturing.

CIT-Harita Composite Research Center is a Center of Excellence for Design and Digital Manufacturing located at Chennai Institute of Technology, Kundrathur, Chennai, TN, India. This COE is established by CIT in association with Harita Techserv, a TVS Group Company, and Dassault Systems, France as technology partner, to provide solutions to varies industry players in design and digital manufacturing

. This COE is signed a MOU with WABCO India for enhancing the skill set of engineers and to optimize their production units. As a part this initiative, training is provided to Engineers and Graduates at the latest technologies. At CIT-Harita CRC, Various applications on CAD/CAM/CAE are used to achieve the robust and efficient New products, hence the same is been trained to the candidates.

Dassault, BAE collaborate on next-generation combat aircraft

Following the agreement announced earlier this year at the Farnborough Air Show, Dassault Aviation, BAE Systems, and their industrial partners have been awarded a €150 million ($187 million) contract by the French and U.K. governments for a two year co-operative Future Combat Air System (FCAS) Feasibility Phase study, formally signaling the start of work on next-generation unmanned aircraft. This is the first step toward what could become a full demonstration program that has the potential to “shape the future of combat aerospace in Europe.”
